ABOUT THE ARTIST

A lot of my art will have sci-fi or fantasy themes present in it; robots, masked dudes and the like. Many of my favorite shows and pieces of fiction are on this list! This is subject to change at any point but for the longest time, I've always enjoyed indulging in these ideas / concepts and they've influenced how I view and appreciate the real world.

Favorite Shows / Movies

  • STAR WARS: The Bad Batch › This is a more recent hyperfixation of mine but ever since I got back into it I realized how much I loved the refined Clone Wars style visuals, the characters and the story. Tech, Wrecker and Crosshair are my favorite characters out of the batch but I'm starting to warm up to Hunter and Echo more... Especially Hunter.

  • STAR WARS: The Clone Wars › Childhood show, grew up with it and it's why I love Star Wars in general! Some of the episodes are silly but majority of the arcs are very engaging; my favorite has to be the Umbara arc. Favorite characters include: Wolffe, General Grievous, Ahsoka, Rex, Fives, Shaak-Ti, etc.

  • My Little Pony: Gen 4 › Also another childhood show, I'll admit I'm still not over it... It's a comfort show of mine and I still watch it to this day. I'll draw ponies occasionally, but I'm unlikely to post it anywhere except for toyhou.se haha.

  • Pacific Rim › One of the best monster films ever. The visuals were amazing and watching it in theatres was an experience I'll never forget! Made me love giant robots even more :)

  • Across The Spider-Verse › Please watch this movie if you haven't already; the visuals, the soundtrack, everything. From every gorgeous brush stroke visible to the songs played during the most intense moments. It was all a masterpiece and it will forever have a deep impact on me as an artist. I quite literally could make a whole essay about why this is my favorite movie but that's for another time LOL

FAVORITE GAMES

  • Skyrim › This game is a classic and I will always enjoy returning to it, modded or not. The soundtracks are beautiful and always manage to tug at my emotions. And the modding community: Well...yeah, its great but like everything there's going to be weird stuff lol

  • Valorant › This game makes me see fucking red. I can't go back now though cause I'm in too deep...my poor wallet. Also Kay/O. Did I mention Kay/O? No? Well he's a robot. That's all...

  • Halo: The Master Chief Collection › More specifically Reach and Halo 4 / 5 , but I love all the games regardless. I miss playing Reach: Multiplayer so much and I'd do anything to go back to those simpler times

  • Ruiner › Visually stunning game, I'll admit the camera angles and gameplay were jarring at first but I got used to it quickly and I love it for the character designs and overall theme of the game! Also Zamilska goes so hard.

  • Portal 1 & 2 › Timeless game, always come back to it eventually just to speedrun it. The stories of both games are so good and the general lore is something to definitely look into. Half-Life included!

Miscellaneous Questions

» Favorite color? Animal? Book?

Favorite color would be red! More specifically brighter, more vibrant variations. Favorite animal would definitely be spiders, I love tarantulas especially. As for books, I only recently started reading again but I picked up the Three Body Problem / Dark Forest by Liu Cixin and would heavily recommend his trilogy series! I also like All Systems Red by Martha Wells.

» Who's your favorite music artist?

This really isn't a surprise but Daft Punk will always be my favorite music duo. Their iconic robot helmets are the icing on the cake for me, and Digital Love is my favorite song from them.

» Anything else?

Cars, motorcycles, planes, you name it. I love machines in general and would like to go into the field studying / working on cars. Racing aesthetics and the sport in general, too. Astronomy also has a place in my heart because I grew up in an environment that cherished these topics. Also stargazing is on my bucket list, I haven't done it yet but I'd love to one day! <3
